FYP 1 - week 1

On the first week of new semester (semester 6). I am brainstorming some ideas for my final year project. I thought of some good ideas (maybe?). ouh this week also I need to find a supervisor (SV) to assist me for this FYP 1. My idea is pretty much related to the problem I have faced during my studies time at UTM and also my previous foundation studies at KUIS. My proposed system is:

   - classroom Availability implement with IOT

This idea happens based on previous scenario that I encounter when finding for a replacement class. It is hard to find an unused class. It take effort and time to manually check the class availability at school. with this proposed system, I would say it makes things easier for students and even lecturer to find an available class effortlessly. I would implement the classroom with sense motion (arduino) and the signal will send right through the system.

 FYP1 - week 2 (24/3/2021) I found a supervisor, Dr Syed Othmawi bin Abd Rahman and I try to proposed my idea. I had 2 ideas on mind during that time and did the proposal. Attached below are my 2 proposal idea: 1.  classavailabilityusing RFID - Google Docs 2.  Classroom E-Reservation System.docx - Google Docs I actually quite confident to do the second idea which is the the classroom availibility using E-Reservation system. After a review from Dr Syed, he says that he cannot see this idea to be implemented with clasroom and asked to change a new topic. I sadly agree because he knows best right 😊  On 29/3 which is the day that I need to submit the proposal, Dr call me for a suggestion of new system. Basically it is also implemented with RFID. Attached is the prove that I had a quick discussion session with Dr by call.
